Our Curriculum

Frog Street Curriculum
At Country Kids, we use the Frog Street curriculum, which is a comprehensive early childhood education curriculum designed for children from birth through age 5. It was developed by educational experts to create intentional, age-appropriate learning experiences that nurture young children’s development across all essential domains.
Age-Specific Programs
Frog Street offers distinct programs tailored to different developmental stages. The Infant program focuses on sensory experiences and relationship-building for babies. The Toddler curriculum emphasizes language development and physical exploration. The Preschool and Pre-K programs introduce more structured learning while maintaining playful engagement through songs, movement, and interactive activities.
Assessments and Individualization
The curriculum includes ongoing assessment tools that help teachers track each child’s progress and customize instruction to meet individual needs. These assessments are observation-based and developmentally appropriate, focusing on measuring growth rather than comparing children to one another.
Research Based Learning Strategies
Frog Street integrates current research on brain development and early learning. The curriculum uses multisensory teaching strategies, recognizing that children learn through seeing, hearing, touching, and doing.
Parent Involvement Component
Understanding that parents are children’s first teachers, Frog Street includes take-home materials and parent communication tools. These resources help families extend learning beyond the classroom and stay involved in their child’s educational journey.

Conscious Discipline
When children arrive at our center each morning, they’re not just entering a building – they’re stepping into an environment designed to nurture their developing brains and emotional intelligence. Conscious Discipline represents a fundamental shift from traditional discipline methods to an integrated approach that transforms everyday moments into opportunities for emotional and social growth.
